Hey guys! Welcome back to A Fabulous Hippie! Today, I am doing a review on this face mask by Freeman!
First off, can we just talk about how freakin' inexpensive this mask is??? It was $3 and some change! I immediately grabbed it off the shelf and started reading the info on the back! This clay mask claims that it 'deep cleans and purifies pores' and it has absolutely NO Parabens. Which is a good thing. Always avoid Parabens when possible! It contains Avocado oil, Kaolin and Colloidal Oatmeal.
Avocado Oil is one of the greatest natural moisturizers. This stuff is known for relieving dry, itchy skin, which is a plus! It contains vitamins and minerals, like Omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins A, D and E.
Kaolin boosts skin cell renewal and great for oily and acne prone skin. Honestly, any skin type would benefit from Kaolin!
Colloidal Oatmeal helps soothe itchy, dry skin and is very moisturizing. You can also add it to your bath for a nice beauty treatment or for relieving the extreme case of the "itchies". I think we've all encountered this oatmeal before thanks to chicken pox.
Hey broke college students.......YOU'RE WELCOME.
Stress and Anxiety can really do a number to my face. As you can see, I have a few stress lumps on my forehead. Sexy, right??
This mask is pretty thick so a little goes a long way. The instructions are pretty self-explanatory.
So, I applied this clay mask to my freshly washed face, and played the waiting game for about 3-4 minutes. While it was working it's magic, I noticed a very light scent that is tolerable. After washing it off, my face felt soooooo soft to the touch! My face wasn't red nor did it feel like it was on fire! YES! Some of the acne on my forehead even shrank in size, too!
Instead of using a towel to pat my face dry, I use paper towels. It's way more sanitary and I can honestly say that I've noticed a difference in my skin when I stopped using harsh, cotton towels. Also, use your ring finger when applying ANYTHING to your face! It's the weakest finger therefore you won't place too much pressure on your face. Remember: YOUR FACE IS SENSITIVE. Don't pull and tug on it!
Overall, I give this mask a thumbs up! Freeman has way more than just this mask. You can check them out here. Thanks for reading! Don't forget to subscribe via GFC (at the bottom) and Bloglovin' to stay update on the latest!

Hello, Lovers! It is I, A Fabulous Hippie, and today on the blog, I have a surprise for yooooou!
I had the opportunity of partnering with an online company that I felt would be beneficial for my readers: eShakti, an affordable customizing clothing store! I immediately fell in love because it's like a vintage lover's dream! Everyone knows that midi skirts/dresses and everything 70s is trending for Spring, so if you're still on the hunt for trendy pieces for Spring, you should definitely check this company out!
One of the things I love about eShakti is that instead of having a narrow size range, they actually realize that not every woman fits the size 2-16 range. Their sizes start at 0 and ends at a 36W. (No ladies left behind!)
Now, I know some of you may be larger or slimmer in some areas of your body, whether it be your shoulders, hips, waist, chest, etc. There's no need in feeling discouraged because #1 you're beautiful and #2 you can customize your clothing by adding your height and body measurements! That way, you won't have to go thru the hassle of sending it back or driving to your local tailor and shelling out extra money. Worried about how the dress will fit based off your height?? Don't be because they make dresses for anyone from 4'6" to 6'11"! It's like you have your own personal tailor!
Ask a friend to help you with measuring your body. Their site has a size chart that explains everything in case you need help finding your size. You can also choose the style of your garment for just $7.50! You can change the sleeves, the hemline, or the neckline, and add pockets! Who wouldn't want a fit & flare with pockets???
I customized this lightweight 70s inspired blouse because I'm a sucker for anything earth toned and covered in paisley prints. Normally, I'm a size 8, but I went up to a size 10 so the top would be oversized and flowy. Instead of leaving the sleeves long, like they originally were, I chose the "Bracelet" sleeve so if I decided to wear a stack of vintage bangles or a hand chain, my sleeve won't cover it up, and look awkward. I even had the option of turning this top into a tunic! That's insane! But instead, I kept this high low hem. Don't get me wrong, I love a nice tunic I can wear as a mini dress like the next girl, but the waterfall effect definitely won that battle. The customization process was quick and easy, and that's what this hippie is all about. I would definitely pair these with some leggings and cognac platform sandals any bag of choice for an even more relaxed bohemian indie vibe.

Hey guys! Today on AFH, our discussion will be on a topic that isn't fashion related and that topic is: Sexual Assault. It's a touchy subject. Anytime I hear those words, my skin crawls and I immediately tense up. Just hearing those words freaks me out......just the thought of someone taking advantage of you and having ill intentions to hurt you for absolutely no reason and take your peace of mind is frightening. If I'm approached by a group of men, I tense up, my anxiety is through the roof and I instantly get into defense mode and ball my fists up. It shouldn't have to be that way. I should be able to go out at night to have a good time without worrying that someone may slip something in my cup when I'm not looking. I should be able to walk to my car at night without having to look over my shoulder every 5 seconds to make sure I'm not being followed. It's unfair but it's what you have to do to prevent attacks. Below, I've listed a few tips to lessen your chances of an attack.
- Be aware of your surroundings! Don't take your sweet time. Get out of the car. Do what you need to do. Leave. Don't sit in car and check your Instagram. Get in the car, lock your doors, and drive off.
- At parties or any place where drinks are served, watch your drink. If you take your eyes off your drink or walk off without it, leave it and get another cup. It's not worth the risk. Anyone can put eye drops or any other date rape drug in your drink quicker than you can turn your head. Same goes for food!
- When being dropped off, have the driver watch you go inside the house before they pull off.
- When going out with friends, stick together! Don't lose anyone and don't leave the group. Now everyone knows that sh*t happens, so just in case the group were to for whatever reason separate, decide on a place to meet up at so you guys can regroup.
- If you happen to be alone somewhere, what I normally do is have my car key between my index finger and middle finger so in case I am being followed or if someone grabs me, I can hit them with a right jab in the eye with the sharp part of my key, giving me enough time to run to safety.
- In the states, if you are at least 21 years old, for better protection, it may be time to talk about getting a gun. If that's something you don't feel comfortable with, then invest in the highest quality pepper spray. None of that cheap, watered down sh*t.
- Avoid getting drunk. Period. That's not cute anyways. (>_>)
Be smart and stay safe! My heart goes out to every victim who has been through something so traumatizing.

Hey good-lookin'! Long time no see! Today, I have an ootd for you! As you can tell, I'm kind of not ready to let go of my dark colors, so I chose one of my favorite thrifted button-ups and these Marsala coated skinnies from Forever21. These pants aren't as tapered as traditional skinnies (they're more like straight leg denim) so I cuffed them. I can't stop wearing these booties my friend gave me! They're 4 1/2 inches tall and they are so comfortable! Did I mention that they go with everything??
I decided to rock my curly fro instead of my everyday top knot, and I'm so glad I did! Just by leaving my hair in its natural state, my entire outfit went from a relaxed tomboy to a trendy 70s babe! I love wearing my hair in its natural state during the Spring and Summer time, too, so prepare to see more curls, braids and other natural styles!
That's it for today guys! Stay tuned for my exciting posts on A Fabulous Hippie!
Thanks for Reading!!! xx
