January 2016 Wishlist

Pink Blouse | Denim | Bomber (love this and this) | Embellished Crossbody | Sleeveless Bow Top | Pencil Skirt | Pumps (only a few left!) | CK Hoodie | Halter Dress ( love it in pink!) | Sunnies | Rainboots | Sweater | CK Tank (t-shirt version ) | Lace Up Heels (love this and this) | YSL bag (I want this and this, too!)

Even before everyone on Instagram and Tumblr began sporting this label, I've been on the hunt for a vintage CK t-shirt for a couple of years now (Does that make me a hipster?) I used to have one but let's be real.....an XS is a wee bit too small for someone who is a medium. :( Blah. Oh well. It's not like I can't find another one right? Sometimes, you have to let things go so you can make room for the new. Trust me, you're better off without it if you know you have no real use for it anymore. I understand if someone near and dear to your heart gave you that dress as a gift a few years ago, but it's been sitting in the back of your closet collecting dust since you received it. Send it to your local thrift shop.

You have a really nice pair of jeans that you've spent $345 on and boy do they make your ass look good. Well, at least they used to. Now you've gained a few pounds and they won't budge over your curvy thighs. You keep telling yourself  "I'm gonna lose weight so I can get back into those jeans!" NOOOOOOOOOOOO! Get rid of them! I understand they weren't cheap, and they used to fit you just right but it's time to let 'em go! Why would you want to lose weight just to get back into a pair of pants you could easily replace??? You're just gonna set yourself up for failure and make yourself feel even worse. Get on Revolve or Nordstrom.com and splurge on a new pair. THAT ACTUALLY FIT.

If you stay emotionally attached to clothes that you don't wear, are damaged  or just don't fit, your closet will remain a cluttered, unorganized mess.
That explains why you stand there in the middle of your closet everyday and say I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR. Or maybe you're just a shopaholic. Other than that, grab a trash bag, a glass of wine and start cleaning that shit out. It's time to make room for the new. You know you deserve it. :)

P.S. If you gained a few pounds, that's ok. Because that's a few extra pounds of sexiness. ;)

xx,
