Micro Florals

Top (I want this option) | Skirt- Vintage (love this) | Flats | Purse- Tory Burch | Rings | Sunglasses | Nail Polish (Rhythm & Blue)

Hello beautiful people! Happy Spring Equinox! It is I, A Fabulous Hippie, and today I wanted to show you how I styled my '80s vintage midi skirt. I bought this skirt back in Nashville at my favorite authentic vintage store, the Hip Zipper. I mean, just the name alone is enough to make you want to shop there. On top of that, they do the most thorough research on the items potential sellers bring to verify that the item is in fact, vintage from whatever decade. What sold me was not just the midi length, but the micro floral print! It just screams 'SPRING!' Instead of a solid color top, I paired one of my favorite graphic tees with this outfit. Lips, Hips and Curves. ;)
I am a strong believer that every woman should have a midi skirt and dress in their closet. Start with a solid black skirt or dress (fitted, flared or shift) and wear it a few times. You can style anything black an infinite amount of ways so this will help you get a better feel on whether you're a midi length person or not. But trust me...once you put it on, you might not take it off....or you might wear it a few hundred times.

For spring, I'm definitely going to be reaching for my Tory Burch Robinson Mini Satchel and my new retro pink sunnies! I love them together as an accessory combination. I just wish I could fit my 6S Plus inside Baby Tory. :/ I just had to pick the gigantic tablet phone, huh? It's so convenient since my vision blurs without warning when reading small writing (this granny needs readers) and I honestly don't feel that I need an iPad or any tablet for reading blogs and doing whatever else I like to do on the go (says the person who is still thinking about buying one). I am NOT that blogger who carries her laptop everywhere she goes. #Nope
Even if I had a tote bag, I would still leave my computer at home. I have the Blogger app so there's no real need for it. To the bloggers who carry ALL of their blogging artillery, rock on. I'm just going to bring my camera.

Stay tuned for more outfit posts! Oh, you have no idea how excited I am that I finally have a new camera! Taking my own pictures is soooo much easier because not only do I NOT have to pay a photographer per hour per shoot, but I can take the pictures how I want it. Now that doesn't mean I would never hire a photographer. Just only when I feel that it's necessary, like for special shoots and collaborations.

Thanks for reading!

xx,
