February 22, 2016
From its floral scent to its magical healing properties, Rose Water is every bit of amazing. I believe that every woman should have a bottle of this in her bathroom and should be used daily. Why, you ask??? Keep reading and you'll find out. ;)
- Rose Water has antibacterial properties that can aid in healing wounds and scars. So with that being said, you can throw that greasy ointment away.
- Its astringent like properties helps to clean pores and tone your skin.
- It helps aging skin, keeping wrinkles and fine lines at bay.
- It aids in hydrating, revitalizing and moisturizing the skin.
- Anytime you plan on going outside in extreme hot weather, I recommend bringing a small spray bottle with rose water to keep you cool. Be sure to refrigerate it first!
- After a hot shower, you should spritz rose water on your face to tighten capillaries, which will reduce redness in your face.
- It has anti-inflammatory properties that can help get rid of acne and excess dirt and oil in clogged pores.
- It helps maintain the skin's pH balance.
- It prevents and cures dark circles and puffiness around the eyes.
- The anitoxidant properties helps regenerate the skin tissue and strengthen the skin cells.
- It's floral aroma is a natural mood enhancer and is said to rid you of anxiety and promotes emotional well being. :) Add a few splashes of rose water to your bath and reeelaaaaax.
- Out of that expensive makeup setter? Rose water is the best makeup setting spray ever! AND IT'S NATURAL!
- Pour a cup of rose water in your hair as a final rinse after shampooing as a deep conditioner. Ohhh, look at that shine! Everyone's going to want to know what your secret is. ;)
Please be sure to do a skin patch test to make sure that you're not allergic to rose water. If you can't find rose water at your local health food stores, I purchased mine here. Otherwise, you can boil a dozen roses in distilled or purified water to make your own batch. MAKE SURE THE ROSES WERE NOT SPRAYED WITH PESTICIDES. If you're not sure, rinse the petals well. I hope this post helped those of you out there who are tired of spending money on commercial products filled with unhealthy chemicals. If you missed the last post, I highly recommend reading it. ;)
